Samantha Mohr
Entering her first pageant at the advice of a fellow UGA student, Mohr won the Miss Columbus 1985 title. Mohr then was eligible to be a part of her first Miss Georgia pageant, which began in June. Mohr was awarded crowning Miss Georgia in 1985 on Saturday 22nd June, 1985. The winner earned more than $3,500 in scholarships and other prizes at the state pageant. As Miss Georgia Her activities comprised events across the state of Georgia. Mohr the Georgia representative was at Miss America 1986, Atlantic City, New Jersey in September of 1985. Mohr could predict his prediction that Susan Akin would win Miss America through computer-generated modeling. His odds of success were 22:1. Mohr did not make it to the top 10 finalist list to the national crown. Mohr's reign in the role of Miss Georgia lasted until she succeeded her successor Marlesa Ball, Miss Georgia 1986 on June 28th in 1986.
